1 June 2000
Wow. So there went May. Good month for me, not so good month for blogging. June and July are not likely to be hugely better, since I'm going to be gone for much of them. But I shall do my best.

(Even when there are no items here, I've usually updated the top page of the site. So just in case you're dying to know what I've been up to...)

Catherine Jamieson linked to a new article on the possible origin of AIDS. Worth reading (and worth reading again, which is another reason I've put it here -- so I remember to go back).

And today's Salon (wow, talk about a redesign nightmare!) has the second part of a fascinating feature by Kate Moses on Sylvia Plath. It was PMS all along... (I don't want to make light of the matter, I just can't imagine feeling that way and not knowing why. Especially when it's something we understand and accept so well today. You know?)

Another one linked for posterity, for my own future reference: wide circle around him by Terry Baker. This is New York City -- so many days, that's exactly what it's about here.
